The Band has been working their collective buns off to get ready for this event. The effort shows. We were sounding pretty tight on Wednesday, including the Bass. It's time to show the field that we are a contendor this year. Comments from several people that I have run accross lately all express the same theme: "That American Celtic Pipe Band is really a pretty sharp outfit. They have a good sound and are getting better all the time." Only we know what things we have to work on. Attitude is a very big part of how we play. Play with attitude. God knows we have been putting in the practice. If we look like we know exactly what we want to do, then most likely we will do exctly that. Regretably, I will not be with you all this time, I can't get out of my National Guard drill this weekend like I did last time, this my wife's birthday (notice that's my second excuse) so I'll be traveling from Long Island to Albany and back to Long Island on Saturday and Sunday. If you win a prize don't blame me for not winning last time. Cutch, here's your chance to shine. As they say in show Biz: "Break a Leg", but be careful where you are walking so no one really gets hurt. Good Luck. Tara, don't forget to call me with the results.
