We have 2 dogs, a 7yr old M Doberman and 11 yr old F/S Australian Shepher.d, who Vets assure us will not be around too much longer. We have been looking for a companion dog to be accepted into the family now. In our search we came across not one but 2 pitbulls M & F both fixed in a shelter. The F is chocolate lab/pit bull cross, happy healthy and apparently good with kids cats and "MOST" dogs. She is also the only companion of a brindle staffordshire male who has been at the shelter so long the pads of his feet are worn raw. He was very good with people but the volunteers at the shelter tell us he can and has been aggressive with other dogs. Both dogs are about 18 months old. We would love to rescue them both, We have our own home with lots of property, but we have never owned pitbulls before and really need some advice from people who know about this breed. Additional info...we have 2 kids and 2 cats as well. We really need help fast as we have an appointment to go back to the shelter tomorrow (Sunday the 18th).
