He was greatful for me saving him, and he trusted me, so he would do what i said... doesn't that sound like a human? You trust the good and are greatful for rescue out of the bad? I find that pitbulls are the most human breed, they are my favorite breed of dogs. I've had a maltese that was horrible! she'd attack everyone! but no one contacted the news stations and posted it all over america. pitbulls have powerful bites because they were bred that way when they were first bred, but with careful breeding we brought this dog to good nature (if trained with a firm yet gentle hand). But not many understand that. "destroy all pitbulls!" what if i were to say "okay, so a maltese bit me, so.. destroy all maltese!". no one would take me seriously... People are scared of this kind breed for no apparent reason, and thats not right. Just because they are powerful doesn't mean you have to be scared of them, it means you grow to love them and make them love you so they will guard you from the bad guys... I love this breed more than any other breed for their sence to understand your feelings. If you are scared of a human, they are going to be like "okay, you're messing with my owner, back off or you get a piece of me." They will love you so much they will fight off the enemy for you... for YOU! This truely is a kind and gentle breed if you raise them right, but most of the pitbulls that attack were abused, neglected, or just thrown out on a chain because it got too big... And the poor baby doesn't know how to react to humans, its scared of them... So yes.. It will bite. Any dog will. Even a little pom. But that wouldn't make the news would it? SO TO ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE SCARED OR DISLIKE THIS BREED: BACK OFF! ONE JUST MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE SOME DAY!
