Recently visited best friends sanctuary in Utah-BEAUTIFUL place. Anyway-had a sleepover guest-beautiful black and white female pit that had been rescued along with 6 others from Crazy guy in Henderson Nevada last summer-he had girlriend and dogs hostage in apartment-etc. etc. Anyway-most of the dogs are doing well and are very happy and waiting for homes-They have MANY pits there and of course few and far good homes-but Puma REALLY needs a home soon. She is very people and kid friendly-is Wonderfully housebroken-loves to play fetch and actually brings back and gives-very focused on ball and easy to train. Seems okay with other dogs-but not really into them-
When she is not in the intake area she gets depressed, doesn't eat etc.-she is VERY empathetic. I live in Houston Texas and am helping them search far and wide for a great home for her. She walks very well on leash-drives great in car-of course all vet care is already done. She is very easy to teach and is about 1 1/2 years old. She is also-of course-GORGEOUS!!--Half white face, half black-very and lots of white on her cute little body. If there is anyone interested in more info, please contact me at lsljackson@aol.com or contact Best Friends Sanctuary-Connie at dogadoptions@bestfriends.org They also have a BEAUTIFUL and well-trained pit named Dobie that needs a special home-he is VERY smart and is trained so he needs a family that will keep him busy with jobs-therapy dog perhaps, or something of such.

I am willing to pay transport or arrange if needed. I have great pics of both her and Dobie if interested.

By the way-I have 4 adopted black labs and 2 pit rescues or Puma would be in Houston with me now-but she deserves her own home!!
