Subject: Male Am Staff Terrier - Should I keep him? Loving, but driving us crazy

In November, I adopted a male brindle Am Staff Terrier. He is crated during the day. He is very sweet, good with my kids, great in the car, and intensely loyal and loving. However, he is destructive, chews on everything, pulls stuff out of the garbage, AND is very aggressive towards strangers, making it hard to have guests. I hate to give him up, but he is truly driving us crazy, and I am afraid he will bite my kids' friends, much less my friends. What to do? I am afraid that if I place him for adoption, someone would mistreat him, and just use him for his agression. Help! If you can suggest a placement or how to make him less agressive, let me know. He is about 18 months olds. (Neutered) Thanks, Catherine
