I agreed to foster a young male pit 6 mos. ago and he is now ready to go to a new home. He is approx. 2 years old, crate trained, house trained, lives with 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He loves all people, especially children and makes friends with other dogs easily as long as he is introduced slowly. Within a few minutes of meeting another dog he thinks they are best buddies! He uses a doggie door at my home spending the majority of the day indoors while we are at work. He will get on the furniture when no one is home and at night - he knows this is a no-no at my home! He will also chew up shoes and clothes if left on the floor - my teenage daughters have learned this hard lesson! He will climb a chain link fence so I installed an electric fence wire across the top and that stopped him. I have pictures I can email if anyone is interested.
