Several suggestions on this matter.
1)Contact some of the rescues directly with your questions as they ususally are glad to help keep a good dog in a good home.(Usually easier than rehoming).
2)Neuter. Sometime this helps agression and dominance. It will certainly help the unwanted puppy poulation. It sometime will discourage theft of you dog, for resale to a bad breeder or puppy mill. Dogs are usually less inclined to to dig or climb out, or tear through fences to go looking for females in heat.
3) Join a Pit Bull list serve for more immediate response to your training questions. People usally are more than happy to help.
4)Don't leave them alone together, ever. Be overly cautious, it's good insurance in the long run.
5)Consult with a local trainer with a good reputation especially someone with exsperience with this breed.
