It's been probably too long since this posting, but I want people to know that the police and/or Sheriff Department has a law to up hold. Abused animals of any kind are protected under law now. I had an incident myself, I have the dog I saved and the 3 boys who abused him are facing felony charges. I am sure Wisconsin is not the only state to have this law.
People please check with authorities if you know for sure an animal is being abused. We all need to help put an end to abuse of poor defenseless animals! Thank you!
