Subject: Slaps in the face

One of the things the church leaders seem to like doing is to kick a congregation out of their building and then let the building sit and depreciate. Do you think this is necessary? They are so willing to put people on the payroll for this and that, couldn't they hire someone to mow the lawn, trim the bushes and nail up things when they start falling down? That's not what they do? Couldn't they get hold of a realtor right away and have it sold for decent value? No. I think they like to have the church sit there and deteriorate. This is a message of contempt to people who used to worship there. Then they finally sell it for dirt cheap. I personally know of at least two buildings where this is a fact.
