25 player rosters?

can anyone shed some light on this? i went to yahoo and we have a max. of 25 players, but yet the positions that are listed are only up to 20 (c, 1b, 2b, 3b, ss, of, of, of, util, util, util, p,p,p,p,p,p,p, and two dl's) so we really have 18 players with 2 dl's? i already have 8 pitchers (one more then the allowed or allowed starting?) and already had more then enoughn first baseman, but had to trade one away...bc i couldn't start him or...? technically i guess there was enough room on the roster. i guess i'm just asking, is the 20 player a min. for starting purposes? - guess we rotate our "starters"/how many rotations are allowed/trades/do we update on this or on yahoo once we're done?
