mike i have no clue. i know we have the 18 positions...ie the 7 pitchers, 3 util players and the other reg postition players(1b, 2b, 3b). Now these 18 players are the ones who play or start and get points. The remaining 7. wich i guess is 2 dl players and 5 bench are exactly that, bench players. You can rotate them into the above mentioned 18 positions when ever you like. I am not sure what the diff between bench and dl is though. So an example would be you have roger clemens starting tommorow, and you have javier vazquez who starts in 3 days on your "bench". After clemens pitches you put him on the bench and put vazques in the starting position, and get his start. And you keep doing that. Does that make sense? Or say at catcher cuz they platoon alot. For me i would draft another catcher and put him on my bench. The days i knew pudge wasnt going to play i would put pudge on the bench and start the other catcher i drafted. Now this could be alll wrong, i have no clue.....so I guess we should wait for scott to let us know ha.
