Subject: Greetings From Boston

Hi everyone,

This thread is on behalf of Tim, Mark, and myself on MIT and life in general. Life is going swell after the big Fourth of July bash that was held here on Tuesday. The highlights included Don McLean and his version of "American Pie", a B-2 stealth bomber fly-by, and a 30 minute fireworks display. I liked Avery Brooks(Captain Ben Sisko from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) narration. . Tim and Mark enjoy sailing and sinking boats on the Charles River, and I have taken up sweating.

The work is going great. Mark is doing some Fourier analysis of the eventual Nanowalker positioning system. He is trying to 'find' the diodes that will be on the NanoRunner. Tim and I are finishing design and testing of a high voltage switching circuit for the NanoWalker's legs. After that we are going rebuild the NanoRunner to reduce its size. I think it is fun.

The lab is currently redesigning its web page and it will include a picture of NanoRunner, so I will post that when it is up.

Thats it, I hope everyone is having a great summer!
CHAD
