Simba,

Nice to hear that you had a good trip to Fuji-san. I also got the letters and stickers from you. Thanks. However, I am very much retired from Pokemon card game.

We are back from our second trip to Alaska. This time we went up further north to Seward, Alaska, which enable us to visit Glacier Bay National Park and College Fjord. I will skip all the details regarding sightseeings in the Alaskan cities but would like to share with you on some of my thoughts and experiences during the trip.

.This trip I spent most of the time on the deck and really enjor the fresh air. It actually tasted sweet.
.The thunderous sound coming from the glacier is awesome.
.The air is so clear that observation of distance is distorted. For example, when I thought we were only a couple thousand feet from the edge of the glacier, the captain announced that we were still 8 miles(!) away.
.In addition to whales and eagles, I spotted a brown bear this time.
.Watching thousands upon thousands of salmon swimming up to the hatchery is unbelievable. While they were happily looking forward to the mating ritual, it was sad to see that at the end, the females were all cut up( to get their eggs ) and the male's "milk" was artifically squeezed out my human hands(!)
.As I was staring at the huge slaps of ice, I couldn't take my mind off one of Gum-Yun's Kung Fu story, in which Wong-Yun and Kwok-ching digged a big hole. Then tricked Au-yeung-fun into falling into it. Then the mongolian soldier immediately poured boiling watering into it. At the end, Au was trapped inside that big ice cube.
.It was nice to be close to nature once in a while. And you certainly has one of the most enviable jobs on Earth.
