I suggest you join the independent group below, where you have a somewhat better chance of getting some help and can have contact with others in your region. Although even in this group it has proven difficult to get much input from experienced growers. What is it with Cactus & Succulent Societies!

Why southern hemisphere cactus & Succulent Societies set up forums such as this and then largely ignore them is an enigma. It seems to indicate either a lack of ability of their general membership to adjust to the modern world or an extremely parochial, indeed very 'tribal' outlook.
Societies need to ask themselves what sort of impression they are giving to the general public.
