Subject: Black leaves

I have 3 succulents in a pot on the kitchen windowsill and they have been growing wonderfully for many months. I think they are a type of Echeveria. The pot in the middle now has black marks on every new leaf. The black marks are very dark, on both sides of the leaves and do not come off, they seem to be part of the leaves not something on the leaves.
Any ideas would be appreciated
