I think you make agood point in waiting to tel the children. It defiitely could be devastating to a chld and they might fnd it very hard to cope with. She shoudl wait until she hersef can cope with the inital shock of her risks before she can let her cildren know. I also i agree that she should tell herusand right away. He can be there to help and support her
