Giga had disliked Elena for a lot of reasons, but as time progressed and things wore down, it was apparent that all the wolves were changing. "Good vs. Evil” never meant anything to Giga -she never knew how she attained the label of "Light Queen", for it was alien to her. A queen, maybe. But a "light" queen? Hardly. The truth, indeed, was that all the wolves here were the same species, the same category of lupus. Giga never forgot that fact and stuck to the realization that all wolves were equal unless they pitted themselves against others as more deserving. Then, they were lesser.

As the Alpha sought Elena's figure again, her emotions were alive and simmering, her mind wandering but intent on one thing. Was this goodbye? Were all of the "Dark" packs void of members? Was the Broken Feather Pack the only one that remained to tell the tale of Warriors Night? Truthfully, it was so. Giga had to stuff a mournful howl back down her throat.

Her expression was soft, gentle, and without anger as she approached Elena. She did not speak, and let only a sad, wolfish smile spread across her maw. Standing only a few feet away from the Beta of the River of the Rapids Pack, Giga gently extended her muzzle and nudged Elena's cheek with it, then moving her head to connect with the others in a tentative head butt. Giga stepped back, green eyes glimmering with the knowledge that she had just formed a truce between the two packs, a truce that would be taken with Elena and used wherever else she may go. Not only a truce, it stood as a goodbye, an apology, and a sign of something short of friendship.

This pack would try to keep the lands alive as well as they could, but it would be a grueling task.
