Subject: I really hope that anyone who tries to rebuild some kind of business or commercial property will realize that is more than insensitive, it is IMO sacriledge. I can not imagine the city allowing that to happen and I know I personally would protest it till my last breath. The thought of a Starbuck's opening where my brother fell is blood curdling.
In reply to: Candy 's message, "I don't know how anyone else feels but rebuilding the site for ANY kind of financial gain is the most insensitive and tacky thing I've ever heard. Stupid me assumed they would erect some kind of memorial on the order of the one at Pearl Harbor for the USS Arizona, I guess in this day and age "for the love of money" wins every time." on 06:30:53 07/25/02 Thu
