Subject: I heard these planned attacks never got pass the discussion stage. I got a notice from my apartments that Al queda wanted to bomb some rental units across the country.
In reply to: Patricia 's message, "What is with the scare tactics? We are on full alert. It doesn't do much good to tell us we are going to get bombed again only this time it will be worse." on 11:32:37 05/22/02 Wed

See what happened when they did not do a full alert from the Phoenix memo. Or tell the public.

Lets fire some one. So you decide either to tell or not. There are thousands of threats against the nation, gov. and pres. daily. most have no more than I heard that some one said...

The point is how much do we tell the enemy we know about his activities? Do we generalize warnings are be so specific that our informants and sources are comprimised?

If you want 100 percent saftey you will never get it. Life is full or risks and chances.

[> [> State Security Leaders Express Frustration About Lack of Direction -- Lafaux, 06:34:43 05/25/02 Sat

From: NYT

Despite this week's warnings about the threat of additional
terrorist attacks, state security czars said they took no
action because the alerts were too vague.

[> [> [> Yes Lafuax and your point is? What do you think that the daily briefing is like...Generalities. If they had specifics date time and taget they would tell. Each threat warning comes out how much weight to put behind it. Trust me I am no fan of the FBI. But they are putting out what they get. -- dd, 11:47:29 05/28/02 Tue

PS and the times is such an acurrate paper.
