If you're really smart you use a condom no matter who you're sleeping with. We all know that condoms reduce the risk of any std, so use one!

yeah, they reduce the risk, not eliminate it, and that's only under perfect conditions. How many of you actually soap up your privates before putting one on? And they break and slip and shouldn't be thought of as some perfect tool. Studies have shown that nonoxynol 9, a common spermicide used in condoms, can INCREASE the risk of contracting HIV by causing microscopic tears in the vaginal wall, making it more susceptible to infection. They also don't provide much protection from genital warts or crabs as these are found in the area around the genitals. We all know there's only one way to be safe, and if you are going to have sex, you and your partner should be tested. don't think that by going for a physical or pap smear you're getting tested, you have to ask.

another thing to think about, how many of you actually use condoms and dental dams when performing oral sex?
