Hey this is where I do my big dramatic post where I say I am never posting on here again. Damn if only I could be cool. I did want to say something tho; Lighten up people. Jesus loves you. and don't frown you never know when there is someone who might be falling in love with your smile.

Life is never as bad as it seems.

And never trust a man thats says "trust me." ;)

Why would God reject me if he really loved me? Satan on the other hand will accept me no matter what I do. That's true love, not this conditional bullshit. So please don't tell me Jesus loves me. If you could see all the irony of me typeing "jesus loves you," then it would have been amusing, as it was intended but now that someone has gone and challenged me writing that, in the tradtion of me I must defend my views. A bum told me that "Jesus Loves You," I looked at him and said "it's good to have something to believe in." To him "god/jesus/mosses/buddaha/inchinbule/panimaiah/alia/whoever" was the only person who cared about him. If him thinking that there is a "higher power," and it cares so much that it loves him, helps him to stay alive and maybe even get out of the rut he has fallen into. I was not saying that "You should be christians" Fuck that. I am not christian, that is not the issue. Not everyone is religious, I realize that. Not everyone has the same religion, very true. Don't get my startd on satan worshipers. You have to believe in the christian god to believe in satan. I know that you only wrote that to try to piss me off, it would have worked if I was a "christian"
I loath "christains" because I am sick of the ones I have spoken to, (I put it in quotes becuase I am not refering to christians as a whole but the group I have dubbed the "christians" for clarity.) Now of the ones I have spoken to, they seem to follow a trend. The push thier "beliefs" onto people without knowing what the fuck they are talking about. That pisses me off. If just one person whos tells me that something is not right because "it is against the bible" could show me where in the bible is says that then it would be a little more valid. Yes, a little more the bible does not hold much truth to people who are not christain or "sheep." It is very amusing that people admit to being sheep, there is even a children's song "I just want to be a sheep" Anyway I keep getting side tracked. Ok I was not saying to be christian or to not be. I was saying that only as a represntaion of my message. Stupid people are easily lead, christainity capitalizes on that. Since most the poeple on this board are of the above mentioned, (myself not excluded) then "christianity" is a good route for them.
I was just saying that people need something to belive in, I don't care what it is. I just want people to be happy. My goal in life now is to cheer people up. so basicly I was saying this;

Belive in something. If you don't want to worship a "god" just worship people, then deserve it more.

Yet your comment about the bum raises an interesting question. Is it acceptable for someone to trick themselves into comfort? I don't believe so. If the only thing keeping him alive is his belief in an omnipotent being that loves him, then I say get it over with. I'm alive because I enjoy living, not because I'm living my life to die and live eternally. Well fuck I don't have enough time to finish this rant as I have to get ready for work...oh well another time I suppose :].

Its funny... You assume that what has been taught to you is the truth. You don�t question that it is possible that the Christian teachings have been completely twisted over time. I watched something on TV awhile back about some scholars that set aside everything they had learned from religion and reinterpreted the bible.... Basically they came up with things like there is no hell... just you will be held accountable for what you do in life... Don�t worship Christ, for he is only the messenger, worship god... The other messengers (Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Abraham, Moses, Muhammad, The Bab, Baha'u'llah and future Messengers) are the same essence, link with god, holy ghost, etc as Christ... �The one and only� means there is only one essence, link with god, holy ghost, etc... But will the messenger will always hold a different title/name.

Why are people so helpless not to search for the truth for themselves???

They had priests in the time of Christ because people were not educated enough to read for themselves. Are people today still that uneducated that they cannot read and think for themselves? They just blindly follow what others believe!?!?!

Lee its funny you can say this with no intuition on what the beliefs are of the bahai faith, otherwise you might understand a little more about where I am comming from. Bahai's actually push independent investigation for the truth (dont follow blindly). Search the phrase "messanger of god" on any search engine and you will find tons of information on the Bahai faith, as well as going to http://www.bahai.org

I think you'd be rather surprised what I know about the bahai faith. And nonetheless it's another monotheistic religion where you are expected to sacrafice your life here on earth for eternal bliss. Most people believe in what they were taught, you find something that works and instead of continuing to search, it ends there. That's exactly why you don't see many (in comparision) buddhists or many hindu's. No matter how much you trick yourself, how much searching have you really done? How much do you know about the following religions (note these are just the 6 most popular):
Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Sikhism.....and the list would go on and on.

Wink to be honest with you, I have been learning alot about the other religions because the bahais believe in all the other religions... they are all the same... there is only one religion, the religion of god.... the teachings from each messenger are the all the same if you study them.... but the laws each of them gave for their people to follow were different for their time period to suit scociety at the time... Eachone actually fortold the comming of the next. There will be more to come as well, the pattern seems to be every 1,000 years if you look at it on a time line.

Im not done searching lee ;-) There is no way I can learn everything about this stuff... There is too much of it... But it can be quite interesting.

I'd say society has changed enough in the past 150 years to warrant a new prophet. I demand a new prophet goddamnit :D.
