So Blair is considering letting Toddy Bowl back into her life, for Starr's sake. So much for the "No Todd Allowed" sign.
Remember the story of the woman and the snake? You know, the one where the woman took in a dying snake and nursed it back to health? Well, as we all know, as soon as the snake got up to speed, he turned on his savior and but her on the butt. And as she was dying, she asked why. He shrugged and said, "Yeah, but you knew I was a snake."
What I'm trying to say is that Blair is doing the right thing. But she's covering all her bases by having security amped up whenever Todd's around. And I don't just mean the guards for supervised visits.
Blair knows who Todd is. More than that, she knows what Todd is. And granted, Blair's done some shady things in the past, but Todd giving Jack away and telling Blair that the baby died and bringing him back only when he found out it was his... that's inexcusable. There is no reason why any rational adult should use children as pawns in their own war. So as much as I want to see Blair and Todd reconcile, I just can't fathom her forgiving him under these circumstances.
Because she knows what he is. It's like the old saying goes: "When you make a deal with a snake, don't be surprised if he bites you on the [butt]."
And Blair can't afford to be bit again.
