The Chipmunk is still such a BITCH! That mammal has a MEAN STREAK a MILE WIDE! To match her ASS! Did you see that fat ass walk out the door in that frumpy pant suit? Ah, HA! There she GOES AGAIN! I was laughing my head off at her ME ME ME!!! She can't help him, so NO ONE CAN! WICKED SELF-INVOLVED SELF-LOVING WITCH! Tell her Todd! "Don't you EVER SHUT UP?!" And what about I NEVER cared what YOU had to say! HAR HAR!! OOO HOO! He even said IT! WHINING AND CRYING! Yeah, RIGHT ON Todd! I loved his "GET OUT"'S! And she WAS so in character, as HE SAID! Whimpering and moaning about him not being able to "admit" he needs help or be honest! SHUT UP ALREADY with the touchy feely GARBAGE! Maybe he just doesn't want to vomit up all of his feelings and hopes to YOU! Even though YOU don't understand why a man JUST DOESN'T WANT YOU, YOU NAGGING BORE! Well Miss Priss, he WAS HONEST TODAY! HE CAN'T STAND YOU! Get out! GET OUT ALREADY! She just can't help it - she CARES about him! MORE GARBAGE! She cares about getting satisfaction out of making him feel SMALL and HELPLESS without HER! ACK!! That Snotzilla chick is so GROSS! I almost forgot HOW GROSS! I thought Roger was pretty terrible today though (not as bad as HER! UGH!)! One millisecond moment he was GREAT! More about that below! But the dialogue was COOL! And SATISFYING! Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Who knows what will happen next week, and after, but OH BABY, Todd put that horrible troll in her place! GOOD! Too bad she's STILL too STUPID to know it! Now - there was one TRULY BEAUTIFUL Todd moment - "You're back." It almost made me forget what he's become, it was gorgeous, and REAL. Oh, Todd, I wish YOU would come back!

There ARE some things that can't be spun, and that last five minutes on Friday, Roger played it for ALL he was worth. It took my breath away, not totally unexpected, but it really was intense. I do NOT think that the baby lie was an act of love. It was also an act of making sure that there was no one in the Manning pack but his own spawn. It was selfish, and it was VERY animalistic, almost territorial. I didn't think it was out of his realm to do such a thing, shocking that it was to some.
Todd definitely LOVES Blair, but he does it in his own way, and Blair knows it. She also loves him, but she is showing ME that she's STRONG enough to walk away from something that is so destructive to her. I don't see sacrificing oneself as an act of love as much as I see it as an act of SELF-DESTRUCTION and pointless OBSESSION. It's also an act of FOOLISH ARROGANCE to be sure that YOUR LOVE can "save" anyone, it just doesn't work that way, IMHO.
I may love Todd and Blair as a couple, but I also can really relate to that kind of pain. Down deep inside, I'm not sure that I'd have it any other way for her.

Actually I did, but I ALSO saw a bunch of shit I DIDN'T want to see...do I ignore that stuff and only concentrate on the stuff that's good for my couple? I still say that RH (and GT) played it so that BOTH sides could get what they wanted out of it. Only if it's revealed that Troll has a nefarious plan will I stick around. Another round of TnT vs Blair for custody is NOT what I call must see tv. I saw nothing ambigous about the most important moment of Friday's show- Todd's look when he saw Blair had come back. He WANTS Blair back and if he goes seeking Troll it's only because he can't have Blair. And as a T&Ber that gave up a long time ago on my couple, I thank GT for making that clear. It doesn't matter how much he teases both fanbases because he already answered the burning question...who's Todd's FIRST choice? Blair. IMO, that's ALL that matters now.

Since we know T&B are a dead issue and Tea's only around for a few more episodes (*WAAAA!!* she's so much fun) it's all rather a moot point now. I did concentrate on the aspects I liked of course. But I saw Todd relieved and happy that Blair was back. That doesn't thrill me, but it gives respect to T&B and their fans. Plus I saw Todd affected by Téa's words to him which did please me.
If both fanbases are pleased at the end of Todd story arc I say we send GT as a special emmisary to the Middle East....LOL

I can think of a few examples, but refuse to get into it, lest we lose track at the topic at hand. The biggest problem for me in most of it is when winning your point is bigger than what's actually on the screen. At one point or another, I'll look at some of these "abusdities" and see the old, "It could happen" thing and I think to myself, "yeah, pigs could fly out your ass too," but why would they go there? It has to be based on something that at least resembles the story on the screen. Not a big requirement for most, but too big for some. -- OTWB, 15:30:52 05/19/02 Sun
