Todd put forth the DBL because he is STOOPID--he wanted Blair & family so bad & yet hated Max's spawn so much that this was the only way out for him (for HIM--STOOPID Todd--i.e., we're not talking rationality here). The Knuckle Kiss, OTOH, well, it was violence for the sake of violence, pure hatred condensed into a single punch. How can it be any other way? And TnTers still want Todd back with Tea??? Absurd. Todd did not do the DBL because he loved Blair so much. My GOSH, that's what I'm talking about - people tout it as proof of love.

It was hateful ... he did it to get back at Blair because she twisted the knife in his gut for months on end for no damn good reason other than as a love test (that WAS the peak of the lie - NOT because Todd would steal her baby). She rubbed it in his face for months, every chance she got ... the man told that woman to her face, "I wish it was mine." He wanted the "package" ... and STILL she kept the truth from him.

Only when the baby was dead did she decide to tell him the truth - and WOW ... lo and behold ... does he come running with the baby to save the day? Nope ... he comes running and lies to her to keep her in mourning.

Whatever Phil - NO, I'm not saying the punch was worse or better ... I'm saying that despite the hate, B/ters still cry on those Manning Church Steps - waiting with bated breath for the next Mass, "The Forgiveness".
