�� Silently she watches the scene between Katie and Marcus unfold, momentarily fading into the background. Arms folded across her chest, she follows their conversation, the slightest of smiles tugging at her full lips. Not trusting herself, she nods as Katie reminds her about tending the shop, slate-grey eyes following the girl as she runs off. ��

"If I may venture a guess, I would assume such acts as what just transpired are not usually in your character."

�� Her intense gaze settling upon Marcus has he lowered himself onto the rock. She silently admitted that it made her more comfortable to have his head beneath hers, if only because he was several inches taller than she, which forced her to look up to talk to him. Tucking the incident into the back of her mind, she smooths the smirk from her face, ready to address the matter at hand. ��

"This is my proposition: 5 silver pieces now, and 10 once the job is done to my satisfaction, however long that may take. You work at your own pace, and I'll be by to check up every once in a while. I'll pay for any materials you will need."

�� Her mouth snaps closed as she finishes the last sentence and she studies him, waiting for a response. ��
