is for cyclists to get politically active. volunteer for your local trails ot non-motorized transportation committee. find out who is your state or county bicycle liason. write your local reps and suggesting they support alternative transportation, remind them that every commute done by bike is "one less car" on the road. mention the health benefits - considering obesity is epidemic in the states right now and health care costs are exhorbitant that just might be a "carrot" they'll take. just a thought.
