Hello!
My name is Susan Martin. I am an accredited TESOL English teacher, as well as a native speaker of the English language.

I am very excited to come to Taiwan and see some of the most beautiful landscapes, people and cultures. I would love to get to know the Taiwanese people and experience their way of life.

I have a TESOL certification from the International TESOL Training center in Ottawa, Canada.
I also have a one year general studies diploma from Briercrest College, a leading Canadian College.

I have an exceptional history in working with children and young adults. For over six years I have been a babysitter for numerous families. I continue to volunteer my time weekly to a family of seven, to help out their parents.

In the summer of 2001 I worked at a children's camp as a counselor/cabin leader. I also taught horseback riding and crafts to a variety of different aged children.

Currently I volunteer as a youth and young adult leader and mentor at a local community program. I share in responsibilities like planning activities, and supervising and encouraging the youth.

I also participated in an international development project in Peru. With a group of Canadians, we helped Peruvian locals start to build a wall around a camp for protection and theft prevention.

I am a very compassionate person and I love to work with people. I am also a hard worker, organized and I provide a great learning environment for those I teach.

Attached is my resume, passport photo, and TESOL Certificate. I am available to start work as of August/September this fall. You may reach me by e-mail at ttsmartin@hotmail.com

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sincerely,

Susan Martin
