I am so confused. I really would appreciate someone talkin to me, cause i cant talk to anyone i personally know about this subject. I am 18 years old, female, and i always assumed i was straight. I was attracted to guys and all that..had bfs and im attracted to them. But i also have a best friend, this girl..she's straight, has had TONS of boyfriends, and the thing is we're VERY VERY CLOSE.like sisters. We're so close that I cant hide anythin from her. But theres one thing she doesnt know, is that im madly in love with her. Or so I think! We talk for hours, spend time together, and everytime shes talking to me i think about kissing her and hugging her and holding her. I want to take away all her pain, when she tells me shes in pain, when her boyfriend hurts her. When she touches me, i feel something tingles, i feel like im holding myself back from touching her. I dont want to ever lose her, shes my only true best friend. ANd i do know that she would freak out if i told her this, she would walk away. shes the type who would just walk away without explaining, because shes afraid of pain and hurting herself and others. we;re so close, that its getting to be really hard to be with her , around her, when i have these feelings. i feel like im lying to her , like im guilty..she keeps telling me that i hide things from her, that im not an open book, i laugh and say ofcourse not. but the subject of lesbians and bis doesnt appeal to her, at times when the subject is brought up when we are with other friends..she says that its disgusting to be attracted to the same sex. When i heard that, it killed, cause i hated myself for being "disgusting" in her eyes. Or if i ever WAS disgusting,if she ever found out. I dont know wat to do, im not even sure if i like her that way..I am straight but shes the only girl ..i mean the only PERSOn..thats ever made me feel this way. It scares me. What also is really scaring me is that she is so close that at times she reads my mind completely..and half the time she knows wat im thinking. I feel that if thats the case, she might see it in me one day and will run away. I dont know wat to do about it..and I dont even know if havin these thoughts and feelings about her means i love her..PLEASE HElP by atleast tellin me wat u think..I really need help..i need ppl who wont judge harshly.

Hi i am 17 years old and really need some advice.Can you possibly offer me any advice on my situation/problem??

You see about 5 years ago now, my Grandmother of whom I was very close to died. she was like a
mother to me and i used to see her almost every day. however I just don't know how to
move on. I still really miss her. it's just i just don't know what to do anymore.
We had made so many plans of do together and i had made so many dreams of things i'd
do in the future(with her by my side). but now she's dead i just don't know what to do.
Should I carry on with these dreams/plans/ambitions i'd made when she was alive and had
planned to do together, .......or should i give up on them now she's dead and find some new
dreams instead.Do you t hink it would be insulting to her memory to just carry on with
these dreams.......only now without her? so you think she'd be offended?
What should I do? i just don't know what the right thing to do is.Is the RIGHT thing to do to give up on all the stuff we had planned to do together

. Also how can i say Goodbye to her . I never got a chance to speak to her before she died and i wasn't allowed to go to her funeral. I still feel like i desperately need to say goodbye to her? How can i do this? Do you have any suggestions? It's just I want to go to the crematorium to say goodbye to her and to say goodbye out loud by speaking or reading a letter or poem or something. Is this something a lot odf people do however? Or is this not normal? Would I get stared at? :( Do you have any other ideas as to how I can say goodbye to her. Someone suggested writing her a letter......but how on earth would she hear what I'd written and....what would I do with this letter anyway?How can i say goodbye?

Also I have two cousins who live in Germany, only they used to fly over to England each
year and stay at Grandma's house for a few weeks during the holidays. I used to see them
then. Grandma was the one thing connecting us. However now that Grandma's died I don't
know what to do about them. I haven't been in contact with them properly since my
Grandma died.they can't stay over here in England anymore because my mum doesn't
like them...so won't let them stay over with us. they have only over to England once for
two days since Grandma died(they had to stay in a local B&B).
What should i do about them? what is the right thing to do? what is expected of me and
what would Grandma have wanted? should i keep in touch/have kept in touch with my cousins after Grandma's death?
also i am
worried because I was having problems coping at shool (I refused to go on-and-off for my
first two years in high school as i didn't want to move on after the death of Grandma and
also could not deal with the death of someone else of whom i was close to and sort of lost
control of my life a bit...then i ended up refusing to go to school altogether at the end of
my second year and ended up with 5 measly hours of home tuition per week forthe last
three years which should have been spent in school. I them failed all my GCSEs apart
from getting a D/C in English. I know i made a terrible mistake and i can't believe what I've
done but at the time I wasn't thinking logically about what i was doing as i was in a state
of severe depression.)and if i contact my cousins again they're going to ask about what i'm
studying and I'll have to explain why I'm on a low level college course.I feel like i can't
contact them because how on earth can i explain how I failed all my GCSEs and wouldn't
go to school. They're going to think I'm a bad person. and i cannot conceal it from them as
they are really well educated and will notice the huge gaps in my knowledge just by
talking to me. What should i do about them? Should I .....never speak to them ever again/avoid them? or tell them what i did :( ? if so the what should I do if they think really really badly of me? Or should I....lie to them, and tell them that I passed my exams (this is what my parents want me to do) but they will be able to tell about my lack of education by my huge gaps in knowledge just by talking to me. What should I do about tham?
Also I don't think that i'll be able to visit Germany when i grow up since i am too uneducated...i don't know how to travel--or speak German.

Also(this is probably going to sound like a VERY strange question) but when Grandma was around she used to buy me lots of videos (especially Disney type ones) and I just wondered (i know i'm too old for them really but.....) would it have been insulting to her memory if I'd continued to watch this type of film after her death. Also....she bought me a lot of model horses/toys. What is the right thing to do with these? should I keep them or throw them away?Please could you offer me any advice ?

Also I missed practiacaly all of my secondary educationn... therefore I also missed Religious Education? I don't understand/get where my Grandma went? Do you know how i can learn about Religion now? Do they run R.E GCSE classes at college?
Also this might seem an obvious question (but just needed to check) but do they give a good all-round general education in R.E in school(sorry if this seems a stupid question)?? so if I had gone to school would I now understand where she might be?
I feel terriible...because i don't get where she is. what does the Bible/Christianity say Heaven is like by the way????I live in England.

By the way what happens to the ashes of a cremated person?? Do they bury them in one place or sprinkle them? if they sprinkle them at a crematorium then where do they sprinkle them ussually (someone told me Rosebushes!) is this true?
Also I wasn't allowed to attend her funeral and just out of curiosity wondered..what is a funeral for the cremated like? What happens? How are funerals for the cremated different from normal funerals? Do the cremated have funerals? I'm sorry...only I really just felt like I really do need to know this :(

My Problem is this:

When I was in primary school I fell in love with someone called Skye

But then when it came too high school, he got sent to a private all boy's school far away and I got sent to the local comprehensive.

I thought I'd NEVER see him EVER again and despaired.

Around about the same time my Grandmother of whom I was VERY close to died. She practically raised me.My mother never seemed to bother with me. However I never noticed this neglect (by my mother)until my Grandma died.

I noticed that I was very unsupported by my mother and in general uncared for. Sometimes she was also emotionally abusive towards me--sometimes she could be so nasty she'd make me cry.

Because of all these things(the death of my Grandma, the loss of Ian and also the uncaring attituse at home) I began to feel very depressed.

Then I made a TERRIBLE mistake:

Somedays I felt so low I found it almost impossible to think about the future and sometimes couldn't find the will-power to get up in the mornings.I started to refuse to go to school asn I felt so low and i couldn't bring myself to/didn't know how to move on from Skye...and my Grandma....didn't want a life..if it was going to be without them...didn't see the point. I missed Ian so so much and could not come to terms with the fact that one of the people of whom I loved more tan anyone in the world...had vanished from my life FOREVER! It was like a nightmare! I couldn't believe that I'd probably never see him ever again/be with him.

I'd been bullied VERY VERY badly at the primary school i went to (before I moved to the one Skye was at)which also made me quite nervous of people and scared of school too.However I recieved no help, no counselling or anything(do you think this was neglect?)

I refused to go to High school on-and-off for the first three years by which time I was REALLY REALLY very behind in my work.I then refused to go to school altoghether as I couldn't cope any more with my life. I was SEVERELY depressed and wasn't thinking logically. I ended up having 5 measly hours of home tuition per week, for the next two years which should have been spent in school. Unsurprisingly I then failed all my GCSEs (apart from one, where I got a 'C' in English)I felt so depressed. I then have stayed at home doing nothing for the past two years as I have felt too embarrassed to face the world.

However this is my problem(of which I really need your advice on):

I now want to go to college

But my problem is I still REALLY really love Skye.

the thing is I did have brief contact with him a few years ago and recieved comformation that BACK THEN he liked me.But he didn't know about me missing school back then. you see I sent him a valentine's card saying 'I think you're the most lovely person in the universe and always will no matter what!

I now want??/need to go to college. However I have just found out thet the college I wanted to attend is right next door to the top educational sixth form which Skye goes to. If I go there then I will definantely bump into him�but the thing is he will NEVER EVER be interested in me now (even if he used to be when I was ok).how on earth canI explain to him WHY I refused to go to school? He�s going to think I am a bad person .

But the thing is he's studyiwng 'A' levels at a top sixth form college. And I .....will probably have to go on an Entry level course and learn really basic stuff like how to cook, use public transport etc(basically for absolute dim-wits)

He'll NEVER EVER be interested in me now. He's in a different league to me. He's so clever.but this is killing me. I wish I could be with him more than anything in the world but as soon as he finds out that's it....my dream...dead......finished

Also even if I go to a different college, it's inevitable that i'll bump into him whilst out and about anyway.(I just can�t believe that I DIDN�T THINK ABOUT THIS years ago�.i just wasn�t thinking properly) But If I ignore him then he'll think I'm not interested i him, when I am. But if I talk to him he'll not like me anyway when he finds out what I've done. He'll think I;m a terrible person.
