My awakening body shivers as a cold gust of wind brushes
past me. I get up and look around me. No sign of Raditz,
so it really was just the wind. I put on my rain soaked
gear. It's then that I decide to go to the city for a while
and maybe visit the sensei that I met about 2 weeks ago. I
perform my routine stretches (feeling a lot better than I
did yesterday) and begin to run as fast as I can to the
city. It's raining very heavily by the time I reach the
city limits. It's then that I realze that I don't remember
where the dojo is. I decide to walk around for a bit and
see what I can see. After about an hour, I still haven't
found the dojo but I did find a gym. "Well, it's not the
dojo, but it'll have to do for a trainig spot." I walk
inside. It's not a bad looking place. Could use a paint job
but other than that, not bad. I look at a little map of the
place. It has a swimming pool, a basketball court, a weight
room, an indoor track, and even an area for gymnastics. And
a sauna too! I decide to head over to the weight room. The
large room surprisingly has very few inhabitants in it. I
head over to the bench press and slap on 500 pounds. A guy
comes over and says, "Whoa! That's a lot of weight. I'll
spot ya!" I turn to him, smile, and say, "That won't be
necessary. Thanks anyway." I push up the weight with
relative ease. When the guy sees this, his jaw drops. "W...
WOW! How'd you do that?!" he asks excitedly. I reply by
saying, smugly," Heh. just takes a little hard work. That's
all." I do about 100 in a row, and move on to the squat
rack. I put on 750 pounds. Between the weighted gear and
the weight of the bar and weights, this proves to be a good
excercise. I do another hundred of these. As soon as I
finish, all the people that have gathered behind me clap. I
didn't even realize they were behind me. I turn to them.
"Wow! That was great!" Kind of embarrassed, I bow and
proceed to the sauna to take a good long break (I'm still
recovering from my exhaustion from the other day). I takr
off my gear and let my body relax as the steam purges the
sweat from my body. I decide to stay there the rest of
today. "That's enough for today," I tell myself. I'll do
more work this evening. But for now..."
