Can't help you with your question, but it does serve as a reminder about whatever may have happened to some of the more well known pieces of clothing/hats. Probably the 2 most well known pieces....Mike's Green Jacket, and Dan's hat.....both were seen practically each week after season 2, and were instantly recognizable. Wonder who has them, if anyone? Maybe their families?

I have been looking for Bonanza original items for years. I have found only a small amount of pieces. Most of the items were destroyed in the Old Tucson fire. Who knows what was really there.
I have Hoss' coat and pants from the first season. One of Ben's shirts. Many other supporting character stuff too.
I am assuming they had numerous examples. Michael Landon's family has nothing as they were looking for stuff a while back and i was contacted....
I know of one green Little Joe jacket that has survived and it was sold on ebay, darn i missed it, and it is now owned by a German collector. He said he would never sell it! Darn! Bonanza was very popular in Germany.

I am sure a few other pieces survived too, but they are scattered and who knows if they would get thrown out if someone did not properly document them. They would be hard to identify without a heads up. If anyone has anymore info to add, I would love to speak with them.
