Subject: Shopping Cart Return Dodgers at the Giant - we know who you are!

With all the important issues in the world and in New Hope, I have a peeve that drives me up the wall none the less.

Why is it that in a pristine area such as this, there are those who appear healthy, well dressed, driving expensive cars to do their grocery shopping and yet they cannot or refuse to take 10 seconds out of their life to have the decency to put the shopping cart back in the cart area instead of leaving it in the space or next to someone else's car?

I want to yell shame shame on you, but wouldn't you think I had lost my mind? Of course you would. What would you yell to me I wonder if I left my cart in a space and it hit your Lexus and planted a nasty dent in it?

I have seen you "cart return dodgers" parked next to the cart return and you still leave the cart in the lot. Oh the humanity! Even the parking lot at the Pathmark in Warminster is neat and relatively free of "cart return dodgers" making their parking lot appear more attractive and their people more considerate of others.

What is to become of our beautiful New Hope and Solebury I ask you? I want all the good, honest and caring people of our kingdom to join in spirit and vow to give the evil eye to every "cart return dodger" you witness at the crime scene and cast your eyes in a impassioned stare of disapproval, ablaze in revolt for the looming demise of our demure culture as we know it. Save our town while you can or run for the hills, what's left of them.
