There was a tale of another Taswegian before the Court, on a charge of Buggary.

The judge interrupted the lawyer for the defence, to clarify a point.

He asked, "Was the dog a male or a fenale dog?"

The defendant indignantly drew himself up to his full height,and answered. "A female dog of course. Do you think I'm queer or something?"
