Yes BV,
it is strange, that anyone could, in their wildest delusions, mistake us for one another. Itlod is merely the latest dill to have done so.

No! I would never deny any person what is needed for their suvival. Water, food, shelter, medical attention, whatever. But in this case, petrol is not survival, just hubris. I do think Yachties who race in the extremes - like the Whitbread - should carry their own insurance. Just like, if I get back to PNG, I will carry my own Medivac inclusive Insurance Cover. As well as a Bushwalker's EPIRB, and a Satt Phone. If I break my neck on Mt Willhelm or somewhere, at least I'm paying my own way as much as possible.

I would not be surprised, if this mad Swede gets his Pilot's Licence suspended over this. Tjampita would know for sure, but I would have thought one had to have one's flight plan approved, before ones departure on such a flight. Perhaps as he built it himself, he flew as an Ultralight, Xperimental, or something.

Regards......Ralph.
