I did a kago/cargo [ooops! I misspelled that one earlier; thinking of plurals where none existed]study for my undergrad work and kago is that which is introduced in packaged form. The notion of package was manifested by the way American warplanes [transport] dropped kago/cargo in packages from the sky and from then onward, Kago began to represent that form of 'present'.
Today cargo/kago is any form of goods taken from one spot to another in a form of packaging. A truck of sand is generally not thought to be cargo/kago per se. But a wrapped box or carton of sand would be.

Em tasol from the lowly brain of BV.
