Subject: 3-D Imager - Want to try it!!!!

As a kid, I remember waiting for this item to be released. The local Toy-R-Us kept telling me a shipment was on the way, but they LIED! None was ever shipped to the store. This was in the midst of the video game crash.

Years later, I'm still trying to find one! Not being rich enough to fork over the insane amount of money they now sell for, nor technically astute enough to build my own, I'm trying to find someone who owns one, just to see what this video game Holy Grail was actually like.

Anyone in the DC/MD/VA area want to demo one for me? It won't take long (and I'd even be willing to pay you for the time). I just need to see the imager in action!

save your cash and your time. the 3d image glasses are the biggesr fraud in video game history. I have two pairs i bought them offa guy at a flea market. both for 50 bucks. good deal for a bad thing. all they are are two spinning wheels that are mage of the same stuff that a pair of 3d glasses from a cereal box are made of. you can get the same effect by using one of them. the 3d effect isnt that great. im assembling two vectrex collections which id like to sell, but dont think i can part with.

Years later, my sleuthing has paid off. I've scored a 3-D imager with 3-D Minestorm! I actually think the 3-D effect is damn good for 1983 AND for a system that isn't 3-D to begin with. I still don't understand how your ship stays the same color no matter where it is on the screen. Any one have any quick reviews for Crazy Coaster, Pole Position and Narrow Escape?
