I agree with the president of the fanclub (forgot his name, sorry). I also think it's unnecesary to split up the convention. If everybody respects the others, then we don't have to. Of course people can laugh at eachother for their costumes. Anime-fans will laugh at Star Trek-fans and the other way around. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you don't go insulting them and stuff. It's childish to think that you're being threatened, just give it a rest and have a good laugh as you see those loonies of both sides in their costumes.
