I totally disagree. I have sensed the star trek fans feel superior to star wars fans, and this could be for their militairistic club structure. One gains rank by input of effort. All are dressedd as officers.
But, however this may or may not be true, I never sensed hatred from either Star wars or star trek side.
Star Wars fans jokingly refer to trekkies as "the guys in pyjamas" but no harm or hatred is there either.
The dark side, in this matter, could reside in the envy felt by some towards the Belgian Star Wars Costume Div. , for their displayed magnificent replicas from the Star wars costumes. In Star Wars there is a sheer endless amount of costumes to do, where in Star Trek there are fewer options.
