Subject: Bob Jackson: A Good Man in the FF Circles Author: Roy Salts [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:16:16 03/31/03 Mon Although I haven't met Mr. Bob Jackson, I've heard Edd speak very highly of him from the 50th FF Anniversary which was held in Las Vegas. I have been away from the boards lately and have not posted over at the FFS Yahoo site because I really do not care for passwords and such; but this item from Bob was on that particular site and I thought it was worth a mention here in the FFW Lounge: --------------------------- ""You pretty well sum it up BOBNAN. Also, I think someone who uses an alias has something to hide. Unlike Kincaid, I am known to the FFS, a paid up member of the FFS, am known to the FFs officers, go to the conventions, and am known to many FF fans. I know several of the FFW members also, including Edd Townsend, the founder of the FF society. I personally have known the FF for 40 years. Ross is my best friend. I have not promoted myself, or my group on this site, or tried to sell CD's on this site, as I don't think that is ethical on a FF message board; however, I have given away several of my CD's to those that have asked. I sang with Ross, Sue Raney and Rod Hanley at the 50th convention in Las Vegas. I am a member of the musicians union and close friend of Carmen Fanzone, Business Manager of the LA musicians union.
