Subject: (!) Tell the forum your favorite Dr. Cook stories!

Thought this would be a fun topic for people. My favorite is when he was directing Luann Hampton, he decided to put himself in one of the small parts of Act II. He was great of course, playing this old oil field worker in a bar, but getting him to remember his lines was a whole other story! One day he asked for his line notes, and I said, "Pages 36 and 37." He looked at me, and frowned. "What lines on 36 and 37?" I just smiled. "No, Dr. Cook, PAGES 36 and 37. You didn't get a single line right." He just chuckled, but me and the other actors lived in fear of the tangents he would go on while in front of an audience. In the end, he led the other actors on a real onstage chase, him talking, and them trying to figure out where he was in the dialogue....But that's why we love him:)
