Wow, I remember back when computers was all text and we had to make ASCII art. I think I still have a dumb BASIC program I wrote a million years ago to make huge banners out of tractor-feed (zig-zag) paper out of 5x7 blocks of X's, one character per 8 1/2 x 11 page.
