Author: Rick [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:44:34 04/13/02 Sat Officials at School downplaying Bullying Problem ... Students and parents feels teachers and senior administrators at the school haven't adequately addressed the situation. It's been going on for a long one parent told reporters, and nothing's being done about it . Emmet Fralick, 14 shot himself Monday. Friends say he was driven to suicide because of bullying. A group of local toughs, led by a girl, were extorting as much as $ 80.00 a day from him. The principal of the school said Thursday there's a distinction between bullying at school and Fralick's tragic death. There's a bulling problem in every school he said. But I ask is that a good reason to over look it?? He also said that there are different degrees and definitions of bullying ... But I said that bullying is bullying no matter what degrees or definitions . And it should not be allow in our schools and the principal and staffs should do everything they can to stop it. Before something like this happen again. Who know maybe next time it might be their kid that does this. Well I guess I said enough about this for now ..
