Greetings everyone... well we had a great weekend for the 4th and thanks to yankee nice fireworks. first I would like to apologise to everyone for my unsportsman like behavior on sat. at the end of the race. I would like to talk about the race sat. and please don't take it as bitchen. I have watched a couple tapes that were taped out of the stands and they tell the whole story of the race. It all started between turns 2 & 3 when the #56 driver ran up and hit my car hard enough to spin me out. I dont know how long alot of the drivers have been driving ? but I've been long enough to know the difference between rubbing and hit. 56 hit me hard enough to bust my brake pin and stick my throttle wide open. Then we were back to racing . Car 56 every chance he had tried to push me around in the turns. on the last turn of the race 56 dove under enough that he was in the infield lined up with one of the tires that mark the infield, I drive the same line 6 laps out of 10, and he drove right up into me. I am not upset anymore because if that's how a person has to drive to win then he will never truely be a driver or a winner. My father never had enough time when I was a kid to do alot ,because his racing came first ,and didn't teach me alot, but he did teach me the most important thing in racing I think ,that a person has to set goals for himself and his car and keep working at it until they meet that goal no matter how long of a time period it takes. and most of all, racers are a family of there own breed. We should help each other and stand together or this sport everyone loves so much is going to die out . I am writing this because parents that teach there kids to win no matter what aren't teaching about goals but to take what you want. Us being drivers have alot of kids that look up to us and we need to think about that. Every other sport you always hear about players doing drugs and other crimes. When was the last time you heard of any driver in Nascar or NHRA being arested for anything , you have not. anyways I will write another time . but will close by saying that if all of us dont do our part in making hillcoutry a clean drivers track then we are no better then I-37. see everyone next weekend John kinnebrew , rebel racing #42
