Yankee heres a set of rules that we use in the West Texas area, just thought you might be interested. Whenever you decide to have your derby please let us know.

DEMOLITION DERBY RULES
Any American made stock automobile or stationwagon is allowed.
All glass and molding must me removed.
Original gas tank must be removed.
No trailer hitches or frame bracing.
No reinforcements, except in drivers door, roll cages are ok, but must be connected to body and not frame.
No tires larger than 15".
Solid tires or multi-ply tires are OK. No flats make for a better show.
May remove fan.
Rear end may be locked.
May move battery, but must be covered.
Air shocks are OK.
Drivers seat may be braced.
Fenders may be trimmed and motors chained.
Bumpers may be welded to frames.
Bumpers must be wired or chained to frame or body to stop you from running over them.
All doors, hoods, and trunks must be chained, wired, or welded shut.
You must have a 10" inspection hole in hood and trunk.
Radiators must remain in stock position.
All drivers must have a helmet, neck brace, flame retardant jacket, racing or leather gloves and boots.
All drivers must wear seat belts.
Must hit moving car every two minutes.
No intentional drivers door hits!
Inspection flag must be removed when your car is out.
All drivers must remain in their car until the derby is over.
All judges decisions are final!!!
