Subject: Worth the Fight

Historically the values I placed on my writing
Were forever on the list of things to avoid sighting
But here I sit asking myself the age old question
Is cultivating old bones really worth the fight
Writing is not one of my strengths
While I strive to reach new heights
I do not even reach a bronze level
Until the day I decide it is worth the fight
I shall forever stay solidly locked in my fortress
keeping to the solitude of a quiet mind
