I was taken on a sunny day
My images of smiling faces and vivid colors
so why do I feel sad
In my frozen memory ...I see a photograph future
and the faces aren't smiling
It is raining ...someone is missing..gone away
The dark outlines of the images almost blurry
Yet this imagery is an art piece of emotion
And I am hanging in a gallery wall
Many admire me for my ability to tell my story
I am different to the bright colors around me
Dark and brooding inviting a sad need
But I'm just a Photograph ..aren't I?
