The Way Koolness of the Lord

we all live in the darkness shadow
and many find we yearn for love
but its so bitter we turn to violence and hatred
dude it ain't so kool to handle so much pain
you become a homie yet its not enough
some dude will come along and yo ain't no more

but I know a dude who lived among us
some say he was the son of God
he was this person called Jesus
and he gathered together a gang
a group of twelve homies
and they spread a message of love and peace

the leaders at the time despised him
they asked him many questions
and he always had the right answer
his gang grew and frightened the power junkies
for he spread love and caring for each other
he was gentle and hurt no one

Lucifer even followed him into the desert
he whispered such wonderful things in his ear
he would become lead homie of the world
but first he must make Lucifer his lord
in a fury Jesus said get away from me

Jesus returned and lead a great meeting
a small child gave him five fishes and loaves
he fed the whole crowd of thousands
and he spoke of wonderful things
so much love peace and understanding

he was a great man
but then we killed him
but that was part of his plan
to die for every dude here and more
so we could become homies in his crib
a crib called heaven

and yes his homies will live happily eva afta
that is real way, way kool man
