I don't know how hard it would be to code: Have the NPC's buy things instead of hanging out in shops. I think that would help the economy with such a small playerbase.

Also some random atmosphere: Maybe you could hear a cart crash inside the Greasy Bastard, or thunder crack during a rain storm. Heck, lightining striking a few things would be a nice extra.

Update the website? I mean...come on, do the Black Spines _really_ exist anymore? Maybe some new faction links to let newbies know what's out there and an updated history. It might also help newbies create what they are looking for if they knew what the houses, guilds, and empires were about as they stand today.
