Sorry, that wasn't what I was trying to do... not at all, I want a shiny happy republic... a shiny happy republic that's not altogether shiny, or happy...

GREAT!!! I'm glad someone has a negative opinion about this... I was counting on it... I'm not going to hold a council meeting and expect everyone to "get along" or "agree wholeheartidly" to everything the council members will have to say... This council isn't just something I decided one day to pull out of my ass either... I've done some research, talked to the houses, got a few opinions from some of the PC's... I DON'T want people to think this is a slap-happy-joy-joy-party-extravagansa-everybody-gets-laid ordeal... this is planned to be a serious discussion for people to take part in, in game, in character... if your character is SO against it, pay the fee to enter, and voice your opinion, and if it is felt strongly amongst the others, the citizens will vote on it... just because you don't like the idea of it here, doesn't mean that you have to trash it here and take that away of trashing it in game, in character...

no, you're not mean... you're just the type of person I was hoping to get a response from... I want this to be equally hated as it is looked forward to... the meeting is set up, and the proper place for your opinions on the meeting is, like I've been saying, in game, in character...
I hope that you'll come and add some conflict to our "shiny happy democracy of free speech"...
