I don't think anyone is going to get upset with you for voicing your opinion.

Sure it does. But also, getting people together makes an opportunity for conflict and good RP, which is what I think Arthur is trying to do. Nobody said anything about a party where punch and cookies are being served.

I don't think Kaiden has ever been a "shiny happy place" and never will be. Democracy is a system where everyone gets a say. The system Arthur seems to be setting up isn't like that. It's more like a republic, and if you're not a citizen you're shit out of luck.

>I know lots of people right now

Sometimes there's something sinister beneath a smile. Everything doesn't always have to end in someone's death or swordplay for it to be great RP. That's not what RP is about, and truthfully, creating a new character repeatedly is boring, not people who 'seem' to get along.

Can't we all get along? No. Can we sometimes look like we're getting along while backstabbing and back biting? Sure. It's probably more fun too.

All it takes is a little attempt at seeing what's going on there instead of assuming it's going to be some 'happy' event.
But then again, you know what they say about assumptions.
