I'm planning a trip to Vermont. I expect to be in Vermont the week of October 21 thru 25. No final plans yet, but I should be there.

If you want to see me after all these years, let me know. E-mail would be nice.

:-)

George

It looks like I will be arriving on Tuesday or Wednesday that week and leaving on Sunday morning. I have stuff to do Friday during the day (don't ask!) but other than that I'm open.

ok folks, here's a chance for an informal Essex alumni get-together before the year is out. If anyone out there is going to be in the vicinity of Essex Jct. on Friday the 25th of October, what better landmark to gather at then the good ole Lincoln Inn! (It is still there, right?)

I'm thinking 6ish; and if people want to eat, we could reserve some tables.

If anyone knows anything else going on later that night, please post it here (i.e. concerts, shows, events)

Thanks George!

There will be a gathering of Essex people in Addison from the 24th through the 27th. Just beyond the viewing area at the Refuge take a right on dirt road. Camping out and goose hunting. We get together every year last weekend in October - have done this for almost 20 years now.

Hey Patti, thanks for the info. I may make a quick visit, love to see the gang. I see Bert now and then. Snakeman was always fun to hang with. I used to go up to St. Albans Bay, and play ping pong and play music with the Snake. That was before a wife and kid. Excellent the guys all get together for a camp-out every year. The guys I grew up with get together too. We've been doing it for 11 years now. Matter fact our annual event is next weekend. We even have a website about it. Boys Weekend is the name. Those "74"er's should have one (website). I here they Goose/Duck hunt at this event. I have fond memories of Duck hunting. Standing in 50 degree water in the rain for 8 hrs, eating soggy P&J sandwiches with my brother Tom. I'd be lucky to get 2 ducks all day, Tom would get his limit every time......Man that sucked! But boy, did my Mom cook-up some tasty Duck.

Just to let you know, the reason I'm making the trip is not a happy one. Depending upon how things go, I may be bumming out Friday night.

George - is there any way we can help?
Do you want to pick a different night to get together?
It would be nice to see you!!
And there is a possibility that seeing us, esp. Tim, could cheer you up!! :-) Helen

Friday night is ok with me. The Lincoln Inn is ok too. Like Tim says, a little pie would be good. :-)

I don't think you can do anything to help me. I will tell you about what it is when I get up to Vermont. It's a family problem. It doesn't affect me directly.

It will be good to see you again. I'm sure that your support will be helpful.

Thanks!

George

Joe, Snakeman will definitely be at GooseCamp. Bert probably not. His ex-wife does not approve! Dan and I, my brothers, possibly Steve Scott. Dave Fondry, Fred Osgood, Ray Ingram, Mark Hamelin, my sister and some waterbury/waitsfield friends will all be there. We don't always get many geese, but we sure do have a good time!

BUMMER! I'd like to come see you George but my wife has me committed to a party (not the insane asylum Joe). Actually it's at Jerry Seinfeld's mother-in-laws in Burlington that night.
Joe come get me before you head down to the hunt on the preserve, I'll bring my 10GA (the boys will get a real bang out of it!)
